Welcome to Skilled Pugs Pressure Wash & Gutter Cleaning LLC ("Skilled Pugs," "we," "us," or "our"). By scheduling a service with us, you ("Client" or "Customer") agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Authorization & Scope of Work

The Client agrees to allow Skilled Pugs personnel and equipment access to the property for the purpose of performing exterior cleaning services. The Client understands that the service is limited to the areas agreed upon in the estimate/quote.

2. Client Responsibilities

To ensure a safe and efficient cleaning process, the Client agrees to the following preparations prior to our arrival:

• Water Access: The Client agrees to provide an on-site water source (outdoor spigot) with standard pressure. If well water is used, the Client acts as the supervisor of the water level.
• Clear the Area: Please remove all sensitive items from the work area, including potted plants, furniture, decorations, and vehicles.
• Pet Waste: For the health and safety of our crew, please ensure the yard and work areas are free of pet waste. We reserve the right to skip areas that are not clear.
• Secure the Home: All windows and doors must be tightly closed and locked. We are not responsible for water intrusion due to open or defective windows/seals.
• Pets & Children: Please keep children and pets inside while machinery is in operation.

3. Professional Methods, Risks & Releases

We utilize a Low-Pressure Soft Wash system for all delicate surfaces (siding, wood, trim) rather than high-pressure blasting. This allows us to clean safely and effectively. However, the Client acknowledges the following:

• Window Seals & Fogging: Many double-pane (insulated) windows have compromised seals that are invisible to the naked eye. Cleaning can reveal these pre-existing failures by causing condensation or fogging between the panes. We do not use enough pressure to break a window seal. Therefore, Skilled Pugs is not liable for fogging or moisture intrusion between glass panes, as this indicates a seal failure that existed prior to our service.
• Paint & Wood Integrity: We are trained to identify loose paint and rotted wood, and we exercise extreme care to work around these areas using low pressure so as not to further disturb them. However, Skilled Pugs is not responsible for loose mortar, chipped paint, or wood that comes loose during cleaning if the material was already compromised (rotted, adhering poorly, or chemically bonded to dirt) prior to our arrival.
• Watertightness: We are not responsible for damages due to loosely installed siding, broken seals on windows/doors, or wood rot that allows water to penetrate the home, even under low-pressure conditions.
• Outdoor Spigots/Plumbing: We are not responsible for damages to outdoor spigots, faucets, or hose bibs that occur due to age, pre-existing wear and tear, or freezing. If we arrive and find a spigot is leaking or non-functional, we will notify the Client immediately.
• Plants: We take great care to rinse and protect vegetation. However, we are not liable for health issues of plants located directly next to the cleaning area that may be sensitive to cleaning solutions.

3a. Specific Terms for Gutter Cleaning

If your scheduled service includes Gutter Cleaning, the following specific terms apply:

• Underground Drains: Our service includes cleaning debris from the roof, gutters, and downspouts to ensure water flows to the ground level. We do not clean, scope, or warranty underground drainage pipes or French drains. If a downspout is clear but the underground drain is blocked, this is a plumbing/landscaping issue, not a gutter cleaning issue.
• Interior vs. Exterior: Unless specifically quoted as "Gutter Brightening" or "Gutter Whitening," our gutter cleaning service refers to the removal of interior debris only for functional purposes. It does not include scrubbing the exterior of the gutters to remove "tiger stripes" or oxidation stains.
• Debris Cleanup: Our standard cleanup process involves blowing debris from walkways, plant beds, driveways, decks, and porches into nearby natural areas (woods/bushes). If no suitable natural area is available, we will bag and remove the debris upon specific request.

3b. Stain Removal Limitations

Standard pressure washing is designed to remove surface dirt, mold, mildew, and algae. It is not designed to remove deep-set stains such as motor oil, transmission fluid, rust, fertilizer, battery acid, or red clay stains. These substances penetrate the pores of concrete and other surfaces. While we can often lighten these stains with specialized chemicals (available for an additional fee), we cannot guarantee 100% removal.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due in full upon completion of the work unless other arrangements have been made in writing.

• Accepted Methods: We accept Cash, Check, Zelle, and Credit/Debit Cards.
• Processing Fees: A 3% processing fee will be added to the total invoice amount for all payments made via Credit/Debit Card. There is no fee for Cash, Check, or Zelle.
• Late Fees: Invoices outstanding past 7 days may be subject to a late fee of 10%.
• Deposits: For large commercial projects, a deposit may be required to secure the scheduling slot.

5. Cancellation & Trip Charges

We reserve time exclusively for your project. To respect the scheduling of all our clients, the following policies apply:

• 48-Hour Notice: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled service may be subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
• Trip Charge: If our crew arrives at the property and cannot perform the work due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., locked gates, no running water access, inaccessible driveway, or unrestrained pets), a $75 Trip Charge will be assessed to cover fuel and time.

6. Scheduling & Weather

Exterior cleaning is weather-dependent. In the event of heavy rain, lightning, or freezing temperatures, Skilled Pugs reserves the right to reschedule services for the safety of our team and the quality of the result. We will contact you as soon as possible to arrange the next available slot.

7. Media Release

By agreeing to these terms, you grant Skilled Pugs permission to take "Before and After" photos of the property for training, quality assurance, and marketing purposes. We will never post photos that reveal house numbers, license plates, or private interior views without express permission.

8. 100% Satisfaction Guarantee

We take pride in our work. If you are not satisfied with the results, you must notify us within 24 hours of the service completion. We will return to inspect and re-clean any areas of concern at no additional cost. Refunds are not issued; we are committed to fixing the issue to your satisfaction.

9. Communications

By providing your phone number and email address to Skilled Pugs, you consent to receive communications regarding your estimate, scheduled service, and invoice via phone call, text message (SMS), or email. Standard message rates may apply.

10. Governing Law & Severability

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
